Student Initiative in Aquaponics

img20160415140515_26170680730_oLe Ha Xuan Thai is an Agrostudies student from Vietnam with a lot of initiative. He and his friends have already created one of the most unique projects on their farm, the Eden project, which you can read about on our website. More recently he decided he was interested in expanding even further his knowledge of Hydroponics and Aquaponics.

He discovered a company in Israel called LivinGreen, that gives educational tours of their farms and contacted his coordinator Asaf to see how he could make this happen.

Together with Asaf, whom Mr. Thai reports was very enthusiastic about this new plan, he visited the LivinGreen farm and spoke with the team there.

A few days later he had already organized a group of 11 Agrostudies students, from different farms, and together they participated in the Hydroponics and Aquaponics workshop for home growers in Beit Herut.

Thai: “LivinGreen gave us very refreshing and practical experiences through their professional models. Our instructor was impeccable, and he explained everything carefully, and answered all our questions.

A philosopher once said a successful course is a course that when it ends, all learners feel that the learning has just begun. Yes, indeed! To us, learning about agriculture at Agrostudies in general, and learning about Aquaponics at LivinGreen in particular truly begin from now.”
