Bunheang Ly Cambodia
Batch 2018-2019
Bunheang Ly from Cambodia returned home from Israel, and within a week was working as a project manager for Netafim, a leading international Israeli Agri-Business operating in Cambodia.
During his time in Agrostudies, Ly was an intern in farm which builds greenhouses and net-houses all throughout the country. “The chance to drive around Israel everyday was a rare opportunity for foreign students like me”
Ly was selected as a Leader, staying an additional year in the Agrostudies program, continuing to learn, work, and grow, “the skills and knowledge I got there was priceless; to know what are agricultural technologies- things I would never have learned in Cambodia”
Even before he returned home, Netafim, a leading producer of irrigation and agricultural equipment globally, reached out to him. He was recruited as manager of Greenhouses and Net-houses in the company’s farm in Cambodia.
Bunheang Ly was ready: “Agrostudies taught me how to work on time, how to balance everything, and gave me the self-discipline to succeed. Thanks so much for Agrostudies program.”
